    Its amazing to see how far along technology has come.I feel like technological advances are leading cinema into a different direction. The advances have come so quickly that its kind of hard to accept, especially with HD camera and computer programs anyone can pretend to be the next Steven Spielberg.

  • Paul Virillio brings up a good point about the VCR. It allows people to go about their daily business and allows them the opportunity to be able to watch whatever it is they recorded. Technology has advanced so much over the years with DVR people can record multiple shows.

    I feel like since technology is so advanced these days. I mean there are some people who have high tech tv’s that are just as good as theater screens and surround systems.It not fair to compare DVD or Blu-Ray to VHS, the quality doesn’t even come close.
