  • Portfolio

I posted my portfolio last monday because i thought that was the due date and for some reason it was not here today. So, here it is again.

  • I felt the same way about the way the story was told. It added so much more mystery to the movie that i dont think could have been achieved using any other method. I also completely agree with you when you said the tone of the film changed and escalates because as the story gets […]

  • I totally agree with what you said about the ending. I think some things are so much better when left unanswered. Sometimes it is good to have a little mystery and i think this would have been one case where mystery would have helped. Even though i disagree with the ending i really did enjoy […]

  • The scene I chose to analyze is the ending scene from the movie Bonnie and Clyde (1967). The movie is set in the United States during the Great Depression. Bonnie and Clyde was one of the first movies to ever present sex and violence in the ways that it did. This movie broke down barriers […]

  • When I watched this video it felt like I was watching a real documentary on T.V. I really liked all of the shots in the beginning of the college and where it was located and i think you did a really good job with incorporating your community interviews into the video. I really enjoyed this […]

I like how you make it know that the most important part of this art is the words “We learn so we may serve”. I think by making these words part of your opening scene it makes the viewer want to keep watching to learn what these words mean.

I liked the whole introduction of the video. I think it was really creative to make all of the the campus be seen to show the amount of art on campus. You also did have a lot of information and you presented it in a really interesting way. You didnt just put text up on […]

  • I just want to put these two movies together as the two movies that I disliked the most this semester. Umberto D and Pather Panchali. I don’t want to say that I hated these movies but I enjoyed these the least of all. There were a couple of parts of Umberto D that I enjoyed […]

  • 1) Talk about the thoughts you had for this video before you made it (planning)
    2) Discuss the filming of the video
    3) Give a background of the people you have interviewed. (if you know their background)
    4) Talk about any research you did on the artwork.(where you went, who you spoke with)

  • While doing the assessment for the Kino Pravda I was trying to follow the guidelines we had just made in class to see if the video I was watching was able to meet these standards. As I was going through the standards I felt that most of them were met and I was able to […]

  • 1) Does the video have a motive behind it?
    2) Does the video have enough information in your video to back up your motive?
    3) Will the viewer be able to understand the point of the video? Is it clear?
    4) Does the video have some type of organization to it?

  • Citizen Kane. By far my favorite movie that we have watched this semester. I don’t know what it was about this movie that made me enjoy it so much but I really thought it was amazing. I was excited that we would be watching this movie because I never saw it before and I have […]

I felt like the sheet given to us to use in the peer review exercise was hard to adapt to the writing we were working on. I felt like a lot of the things on the sheet could not be found in the Annotated Bibliographies. I do think that peer editing is a great thing […]

    *add on

I found myself using a lot of unnecessary information when I could have the same idea made in a shorter sentence. Used a lot of extra words.

  • Psycho is such a great horror movie. No matter how old I am I will still get the chills from watching this movie. I believe this is a timeless thriller. While watching the movie you think you know what is really going on but you can never be too sure until the end. It really […]
