  • thanks for your comment, it was just a story written for a creative writing class

  • It’s a good thing we only had to write two short stories because, tell you the truth, it was even harder than writing poetry. With poetry I knew where I was going because I was following a rhyme scheme so as I was going I knew A had to rhyme with C, B with D […]

  • Jenny — no i dont have any questions so you could just go ahead and give me your general impressions. Really looking forward to hearing (reading) your thoughts.

  • Everything seemed like a blur as she looks out the window of the bus. Everything’s a blur in her head. Automatic voice comes on “Please step away from the door”. She backs up and rests her head on the pole she’s holding. Not even the door wants me next to it. There were only three more […]

  • The line goes dead and I’m left staring at the phone in my hand. My mind goes blank and for a moment the world falls into silence. The news begins to sink in and suddenly the weight of reality slams into me, knocking the very breath out of my body. I don’t how long I’ve […]

  • Snow falls through the open door on the face of the battered girl still unconscious. Her jeans and underwear are around her ankles, her shirt is ripped leaving her bra showing, her right breast is out of the bra. The only thing she is still wearing is her jacket which is wide open exposing her […]

  • Trying to crawl away, she is jerked back by the attacker pulling her hair. He tries to drag her to a corner but with the force of the yank instead he pulls out a chunk of hair with some skin attached. It’s as if the streets became silent; no wind, birds chirping, cars passing by, […]

O_O holy fuck charlie’s in mark’s bathtub?! totally didnt see that coming…well when he started talking to his own reflection I knew something was up. So mark is a vigilante? is he supposed to be a hero b/c its kind of odd for a hero (in the typical sense) to inflict pain even on a […]

  • Enjoying learning about this girl so far; a few things i’d change tho: the first sentence of the first paragraph. Its a continuation of the story so the audience already knows “she was the coldest bitch” b/c you told us already. Another thing “From that day on, our lives were never the same again, for […]

I love this piece, it actually reminds me of the type of books I usually read. The speaker doesnt identify “itself” but I perfer to think that you were writing from a man’s perspective – that way I could say how awsome you are. I actually thought about writing from a male’s point of view, […]

so what happens afterwards? does the moon develop a ploy to overthrow the sun and plunge the kingdom into darkness? this story sounds very poetic.

  • Not the best story in my opinion… It was crowded that day. The trains were coming and going, struggling to stay on schedule. Young and old people dressed in heavy coats passed by without even sparing them a second glance. They were after all two strangers, probably a couple parting or perhaps a brother and […]

  • Who is this woman? is it a face we all know, like the mona lisa? and who exactly are these men? When i saw the number 4 i unconsciously thought of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse but I dont think thats who you are refering to. Is the woman on the poster? or is […]

Samantha, the book is called Forbidden (I used that title for my poem) and its by Tabitha Suzuma.

Wow samantha, your poem puts into words exactly how i feel about mankind some of the time. The imagery of nature is so beautiful and its a mazing how these elements can co-exist. And then theres man, people – power hungry, greedy and never satisfied; how sad.

  • The actual poem of the week. Dedicated to an awsome book.  Feels like one big cliche tho… We live in sin, you and I From their eyes we must hide To the world we must lie From fear they will condemn our love affair Bounded forever by the labels that we wear Brother, I call thee Sister, you […]
